Dutch Connection's Aidan
and
Aidan is a darker brindled dog with a gorgeous head. He
will often slant his head when talked to.
He's a sweet little guy. Obedient and pretty quiet and very
eager to please.
Aidan has joined  his sister Aisha in Canada.
Aidan loves to play, he's very affectionate and obedient
and knows his way with all the hugs he can get.
A sight not to forget:
Our sweet little Aisha in this huge truck. Her innocent little
face looking at me: Mammy, what am I doing here?
Goodbyes, tears, driving off and more tears.
Another puppy goes off into this world.
We know she'll be fine.
Petra and Eric qualified very well when I was screening
potential owners.
Aisha would be on the truck for a couple of months and
then settle down in a different part of Canada.
When I hear how well she does on the road, I'm so happy.
Not surprised though, because we knew that Aisha has the
potential to adapt to almost any situation. And we knew
that Petra and Eric would be perfect for her.
And what's nicer for a puppy than to meet new people and
new dogs in new places all the time.
We spent hours on the phone, talking, getting to know
each other, before they came down to us in Tennessee, all
the way from Canada.
We know this is another good match and we're very happy
with it.
Aisha, Petra, Eric, We wish you a life filled with happiness
together.
This is what Petra wrote:
When we got Aisha she was a shy and innocent little
doggy, but that changed very soon after she explored
the life of the US and the Canadian highways. She with a
whole bunch of truck drivers. Where ever she goes she
knows how to get her attention. She learns very fast, she
likes doing things for her boss and getting something in
return. She likes to play in water,  but not in the rain.
She is a very good watch-dog, and keeps an eye on my
truck when I have to leave her alone for a little while. As
soon as the truck starts driving, she falls asleep.
Playing with other dogs is also one of her favorite things
to do, and after a long drive she is glad to be home
where she can run in the fields and swim in the ocean.
I'm very happy with Aisha and I know she is happy to be
with us.
Pretty soon we are moving from east to western Canada,
where her life will get even better, her trucking life will be
over then, but I think it's the first puppy that made so
many miles in the first months of her life, and that's an
experience for life.
