| Dutch Connection is a kennel with roots in the Netherlands. Having lived in the Netherlands for more than 30 years, I have fallen in love with this Dutch National breed. I have enjoyed their company for over 25 years and after moving to the USA, my Dutch Shepherd Alex came with me. After having produced the very first litter of Longhaired Dutch Shepherds from FCI recognized parents in the USA, we can proudly say that we have set the standard for the introduction of the longhaired Dutch Shepherd in the United States. We have the first International Youth Champion in our litter. We have the first Search and Rescue dog in our litter. By producing puppies for family, show, SAR and herding, we have demonstrated the versatility of this breed; beauty and brains. All and all, we are very happy with this last year and look forward to a bright future for the Longhaired Dutch Shepherd in the USA. (Or as the Dutch call them; Langharige Hollandse Herder) We shall breed a limited amount of litters; one litter every second or third year.
